as a classic TV, in the given diagonal and price category, I would give 4 (and a half) stars.
but I preferred this model (and brand) over the others because of the voice control. on alga (and other shops): " *You can turn voice control on or off by turning on or off the dedicated microphone switch at the bottom of the TV. “. so I' m looking for it like hell until TCL writes that this model doesn' t have a microphone, that I should buy another remote control with a microphone or use an app on my mobile phone.
when I got rid of my old TV, I took it as a positive that I would get rid of one controller for the set-top box. and now I have to BUY another one again so I can try the voice control on the TV where it is advertised in the base.
see the positives - great as a classic TV, but due to (in my opinion) misleading advertising regarding voice control, I will choose another brand next time

TV bought to watch in the kitchen. It is the better choice in the given price category. The picture is very nice when viewed from a direct angle. Android TV great. Netflix and Disney+ without problems. The sound is sufficient.

I bought the TV as a secondary one for the bedroom, without much expectation, but it pleasantly surprised me. Looks nice, minimal bezels, quick response. Option to install applications. Overall, for the money without any problems, I can recommend it.

For this money (purchased additionally in the ALZA sale) a decent-looking and functional Smart TV with Android TV for the role of another TV in the home (residential kitchen).
Purchased as a replacement for a 32" JVC LT-32VAF3035 (Android TV), which lost its screen backlight a month after the 2-year warranty. we operate a 55" Sony XR (A83J) OLED TV with an absolutely excellent image, the image of this new TCL is not that much worse compared to it.
Of course, minor problems, quite usual in this category, described in the negatives.

In the TV setup process, you can' t pair the remote control with the TV via BT, obviously this remote control connectivity is missing. Works only in IR mode.

The volume control is strange, holding down the volume button will increase the volume in leaps and bounds up to maximum, and vice versa when muted.
Badly placed (extremely low) VESA holes, I have a wall mount that assumes a central location for these holes. Complications when placing a TV.
Manufacturers should follow some unwritten rules for the placement of these holes.
The sound corresponds to the TV design, it is almost frameless, very thin. A more demanding user will definitely add a soundbar.
