Wi-Fi connectivity and speed
The device divides wireless traffic into three separate frequency bands for more efficient data flow distribution. The 2.4GHz band offers a transmission speed of 400Mbps, which is perfectly adequate for general web browsing. For more demanding tasks, the first 5GHz band provides speeds of 867Mbps. The system uses four internal antennas to effectively spread the wireless signal in all directions. The second 5GHz band, with speeds of 867Mbps, acts as a dedicated wireless backhaul to link the individual nodes, preventing network slowdown when multiple clients are connected.
Mesh coverage
Mesh technology links multiple compatible units into a single network with one SSID name. Users at home can seamlessly move towards the strongest signal source without dropouts or the need for manual reconnection. A single standalone unit can reliably cover an indoor area of up to 195m², depending on the building's layout. If needed, you can expand the entire system to up to four units—one main router and three additional satellites. This allows you to cover multi-storey houses or larger office spaces without any dead spots.
Network security
The security of data transmitted over the wireless network is protected by WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK, WPA-Enterprise and WPA2-Enterprise encryption standards. The integrated QuWAN SD-WAN solution facilitates secure remote connections to company resources via an encrypted VPN network. Administrators and parents can use advanced parental control tools to effectively filter inappropriate online content. The system also supports blocking selected keywords in search engines or specific web addresses, helping to protect children from risky content.
Port selection
Wired connections to other network elements are handled by the physical ports on the back of the device. There is 1 WAN port and 3 LAN ports, which support speeds of up to 2.5Gbit/s for fast local network transfers. Two high-speed USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports on the device body are available for connecting external data storage. These ports are used to expand the storage capacity.
