The PremiumCord data cable is a SATA III standard data cable used to connect hard drives, SSDs or optical drives to the motherboard. It achieves transfer speeds of up to 6 Gbit/s and is backwards compatible with the older SATA II and SATA I standards. One of the connectors is angled at 90°, which makes it easier to plug in within the tight spaces of a computer case.
