The Trixie high-frequency whistle made of metal has an extremely long range and is ideal for training your dog. Dogs respond primarily to sounds and acoustic signals, not speech. The whistle is therefore ideal for training and hunting because the sound is barely audible. Its sound is very different from the normal sounds your dog is confronted with on a daily basis. Please note that even a light whistle is perfectly sufficient, as too loud noises may frighten your dog. Dogs have a much wider sound spectrum and perceive the sounds of a high frequency whistle with the same volume as a regular whistle.
