Terra Canis Intestinal Canned Intestinal Diet Veal 400 g

Terra Canis Intestinal Canned Intestinal Diet Veal 400 g
Terra Canis Intestinal with veal has been developed to restore the intestinal flora, stabilize the electrolyte balance in the dog's body and replenish lost fluids. The special formula provides your dog with healthy, high quality amino acids and omega 6 fatty acids. Light, easily digestible fruits and vegetables provide natural fibre, vitamins, minerals and trace elements. The menu contains three medicinal herbs: Chamomile, aniseed and cumin, which are known to soothe the digestive tract and relieve cramps. Flaxseed and psyllium husks support digestion. Yarrow has been added to improve bile flow, while gingko is considered a free radical scavenger. The mineral earth (= Luvos Healing Earth) acts as a buffer against excess acids. MCT oil provides quickly available energy, while probiotics (= effective microorganisms/EM) help the intestinal flora regain balance.

Quality and balanced diet also for dogs with special needs
Thanks to Terra Canis' special formulas, you can give a high quality food even to a dog with specific needs. In general, the food must not further burden the digestive process by containing, for example, large amounts of fat or cereals. Cereals in particular are difficult for dogs to digest and can interfere with digestion. The Intestinal grain-free diet range contains muscle and also low-fat heart and stomach in 100% human quality.

Feeding instructions
Weight of dog - recommended feeding/day:
5 kg: 300-400 g
10 kg: 500-600 g
20 kg: 800-1 000 g
30 kg: 1 100-1 400 g
Feeding Time:
Initially up to three months. It is recommended to consult a veterinarian before use and before extending the feeding period.
Extra Tip:
During acute diarrhoea, the first recommended measure is consistent food deprivation for 24 to 48 hours. Fresh drinking water must always be available. The so-called zero diet helps to calm the gastrointestinal tract and promotes the natural cleansing of the digestive system. The digestive tract is not automatically further burdened by lack of food. In addition, the risk of food allergy is reduced. Irritation of the intestinal mucosa puts a strain on this immune barrier and loosens "its boundaries". As a result, large protein molecules in the food can pass through it and lead to the production of antibodies, which can lead to allergic reactions. The recommended zero diet allows the intestinal mucosa to regenerate, and mild diarrhea will often be managed gently and quickly. Protein from food cannot pass through the intestinal barrier, which has become vulnerable, preventing possible food allergy later. Puppies and young animals, as well as obese animals, are completely excluded from the fasting diet. For these four-legged friends, a zero-ration diet should be avoided at all costs, as these animals are in a different metabolic state that is negatively affected by lack of food. Especially in the case of very fat animals, there is a risk of excessive fat mobilisation due to sudden nutrient uptake. Severe diarrhea that lasts more than two days leads to dehydration of the animal. A dehydrated animal can be recognised by deep-set eyes, exhaustion and low skin elasticity. When dehydration sets in, diarrhoea persists or serious illness is suspected, veterinary assistance is absolutely necessary.
Warning:
This is a "special diet" food. By purchasing this product, you acknowledge that your dog has been examined by the veterinarian who prescribed this diet. See your veterinarian regularly, no more than once every six months.
