Royal Canin VD Dog cons. Hepatic 420 g

Royal Canin VD Dog cons. Hepatic 420 g
Royal Canin VD Dog Hepatic is a complete dietary food for dogs that supports liver function in case of chronic liver insufficiency and reduces copper deposition in the liver. The feed contains a reasonable content of high quality protein, a high content of essential fatty acids and highly digestible carbohydrates and is low in copper. Low copper content with increased zinc content minimizes both copper accumulation in hepatocytes and the formation of intracellular lesions caused by cholestasis. Free radicals play a key role in the pathogenesis and progression of liver injury. A synergistic complex of antioxidants slows the breakdown of hepatocytes. Low sodium intake reduces portal hypertension and limits extravascular fluid loss. The high energy content helps maintain normal body weight in dogs with liver failure. L-carnitine facilitates the use of fats in the liver, thereby preventing excessive protein catabolism and reducing the risk of the onset or progression of hepatic encephalopathy.
