Petosan Dental Hygiene Kit, Medium

How to Brush

The toothbrushes are available in sizes Small, Medium, and Large.

Step 1: Days 1–3 Apply a little Petosan toothpaste to your index finger and let your dog lick the paste. Gently slide your finger along the teeth and gums to get your dog used to it. Reward your dog. If your dog is comfortable, move on to Step 2. (! Never use toothpaste intended for humans, as it can be harmful to your dog if ingested)

Step 2: Days 4–14 Repeat the process using the Petosan finger toothbrush to wipe plaque from the surface of the teeth and gums. Do not force your dog and only brush where they allow you to. Do this regularly and reward your dog. If your dog is comfortable, move on to Step 3.

Step 3: Day 15 and onwards Introduce your dog to the toothbrush. The Petosan double-headed toothbrush allows you to clean the inner and outer surfaces of the teeth simultaneously with a single movement. Apply the paste to the toothbrush and let your dog lick it. However, do not let them chew on the brush. Move the brush slowly and gently along the teeth; we recommend starting by cleaning only a part of the teeth and gradually moving on to the entire set. Reward your dog. Be patient and repeat the process every day.
