Nina Ottosson Interactive Dog Toy Snuffle and Treat Ball

Nina Ottosson Interactive Dog Toy Snuffle and Treat Ball
The interactive dog toy Dog Snuffle and Treat Ball brings a new playful way to get your dog mentally and physically active. The puzzle consists of one giant rubber ball with six hiding places for treats and six cute cuddly squirrels. You can change the difficulty level by how deep you insert the squirrel into the hole. It offers a lot of fun for your dog in the search for animals, at the same time stimulates thinking and entertains your pet mentally. It brings a fun way to strengthen the dog's ability to find solutions. Excellent for training fine motor skills and patience of the dog. Suitable for all dogs regardless of age, size or breed. The ball is made of soft durable rubber on the surface (green layer), the dog can roll it, take it in his mouth and throw it. Inside, though, it has a solid white skeleton that helps keep the whole sphere in shape. The skeleton also delineates the inner hiding places, so there will only be as many treats under each squirrel as you put in there (the sphere is not hollow and the treats are separated inside in individual chambers). The ball is not suitable for fetching, biting or other independent play. The squirrels have heads made of soft plush with filling and tails made of artificial fur without filling, they do not contain a squeaker. They are also suitable as a stand-alone toy for small dogs. All parts of the toy are BPA, PVC and phthalate free.

Instructions for use:
Start by filling the hole one by one with treats and plugging it with a squirrel. The dog's job is to pull the squirrels out, thus freeing the treat hole and rolling the treats out of the ball. Once you notice that the dog is getting to the reward too quickly, push the squirrels more into the hole so that the dog doesn't have to pull them out so easily.
Difficulty levels:
LEVEL 1: Push the squirrel into the hole head first, squeezing it just slightly so the dog can easily pull it out of the hole by its tail.
LEVEL 2: Insert the squirrel into the hole with its tail, letting only half of the head peek out to make it harder to fish out.
LEVEL 3: Tuck the squirrel head into the hole so that only the tail is sticking out and the whole head is inserted in the hole.
Note:
The puzzle is designed for supervised play, if the puzzle is damaged, remove small parts to avoid swallowing them. Choose the size and type of toy according to the size and temperament of your pet.
