Lucky Reptile Desert Bedding Golden Yellow 7 l

A special natural substrate from Lucky Reptile for dry desert and savanna terrariums. Many desert reptile species don't live directly on sand, but instead inhabit places with various types of soil. Desert Bedding is ideal for these exact species. Bearded dragons, spiny-tailed lizards, all types of ground iguanas, and many species of gecko will feel right at home on this substrate. It contains soil from very dry regions as well as clay soil, which allows animals to dig their own shelters. The bottom layer of this substrate is easy to keep moist, which is important even for species from the driest regions. You can pour the substrate directly into the terrarium or mix it with water in a 4:1 ratio to create a mouldable mixture and shape the landscape. To ensure the stability of the moulded landscape (e.g., a burrow-like shelter), we recommend mixing Desert Bedding substrate with Herp Pottery clay granules. Regularly remove any waste and, depending on the number of animals you keep, change the substrate regularly.
