The Kurgo Core dog sweater is made from warm 280g knitted fleece. The garment has an athletic cut that doesn't restrict your dog's movement, and combines several types of fastenings for easy dressing. On the back, there's a two-way zip for harness access, complemented by a zip at the neck and a hook-and-loop fastener on the chest. Reflective details increase the dog's visibility in low-light conditions. Size S corresponds to a back length of 34cm, a neck circumference of 41cm, and a chest circumference in the range of 48–69cm.

Material and cut

The sweater consists of 280g knitted fleece, which is both breathable and warm. This makes it suitable for wear in winter, spring, and autumn. The garment can be used on its own or as a base layer under other clothing for increased thermal comfort. The athletic cut follows the dog's body, giving it complete freedom of movement when running and playing. The lining is also made from a comfortable fleece material.

Functional elements and fastening

A well-thought-out fastening system makes dressing and undressing easy. There is a hook-and-loop fastener on the chest and a short zip at the neck. The main fastening on the back is a two-way zip, which also serves as a covered opening for easily attaching a leash to a harness or collar. You can unzip it only where needed. The size is determined by the dog's current measurements, taken while it is standing in a natural position. The back length is measured from the withers, which is the point between the shoulder blades, to the base of the tail. The chest circumference is measured at its widest part, typically just behind the front paws. It's a good idea to add a few centimetres to the measured values to ensure the sweater doesn't pinch the dog anywhere. The garment must not be too tight, but it shouldn't be unnecessarily loose either.
