The HOBBY UV Compact 23W, 8%UV-B is an energy saving bulb that promotes optimal health of reptiles kept in terrariums. By promoting vitamin D3 synthesis, it helps prevent rickets and other reptile diseases. No ballast is required, it can be easily mounted in standard E27 sockets. It emits 6 500 K and has a luminous flux of 540 lm. The high colour rendering index of 83 Ra ensures a faithful imitation of natural daylight. It produces 8% UV-B radiation, which is an essential need for reptiles. It has an economical operation with a consumption of 23 kWh per 1,000 hours. It emits UV radiation with an intensity of >2mW/klm and is specially designed for reptile breeding.
