The internal memory capacity tells you how much space will be left for your files. If your phone's internal memory capacity is under 1GB, you will only have enough space for the most basic necessities and little else. You will be able to store a few phone numbers and text messages. A larger memory with a 16GB capacity is the bare minimum if you want your device to actually work as a smartphone. If you decide to buy a model with 32 or 64GB, you may not even need an extra memory card. An internal memory capacity of 128GB or more gives you the option to capture hours of high-definition video.
