Durable construction and design
The Nokia 230 has an aluminium finish that looks and feels luxurious. The battery lasts for hours of calling, chatting, gaming and playing music. You can capture your smile, and what made you smile, with the front or rear camera. Both have an LED flash. Measuring 124.6 × 53.4 × 10.9mm and weighing 94g, the phone is comfortable to hold. The sandblasted aluminium back cover wraps tightly around the sides and back of the phone. This material increases mechanical resistance to bending and impacts, and its finish is more resistant to fingerprints. The 2.8" TFT display with 320 × 240 pixel resolution offers a fineness of 143 PPI. This resolution is sufficient for a clear display of text and icons in the Series 30+ environment.
Dual camera
The phone offers two cameras for quick photos. The rear 2MP lens captures snapshots of your surroundings. The front 2MP camera lets you take self-portraits. Each camera, front and rear, has its own LED flash. This solution helps when shooting in low light or at night by illuminating the scene and improving the final image. You will especially appreciate the front flash when taking selfies in poorly lit areas.
Long battery life
Power is provided by a removable 1450mAh battery. Combined with the energy-efficient Unisoc 6531F processor and the undemanding Series 30+ operating system, the phone lasts for several weeks in standby mode on a single charge. With normal use, including calling and texting, you don't have to charge the phone every day. The ability for the user to easily replace the battery extends the overall life of the phone. A USB-C connector is used for charging, which is a practical standard shared with many other modern phones.
Entertainment and games
The phone also offers entertainment features. It includes a 3.5mm audio jack to connect classic wired headphones. The headphones are not only for listening to music, but also serve as an antenna for receiving the signal of the built-in FM radio. Bluetooth 5.0 technology enables wireless listening and pairing with wireless headphones or external speakers. You can expand the internal storage by up to 32GB with a MicroSD card. On the card, you can store hundreds of music tracks in MP3 format or photos taken with the camera. You will also find pre-installed games, including the classic game Snake.
