The Noctua NF-A14x25r G2 fan set includes two 140mm units developed for cooling PC builds with high static pressure demands. They are suitable for dense CPU cooler fins and water-cooling radiators, where they achieve an airflow of 91.58 CFM at speeds of up to 1500rpm. The Sterrox LCP polymer construction reduces vibrations and thermal expansion, which helps maintain a small gap between the blades and the frame. The fans use a 4-pin PWM connector for automatic speed control.

Push-pull optimisation of the Noctua NF-A14x25r G2
This fan set is designed for a push-pull configuration on large CPU coolers. The Time Warp feature synchronises the RGB LEDs with the fan speed, which creates a visual effect of static or slowly rotating blades. This subtle offset prevents harmonic phenomena and interference beats, which manifest as a periodic hum or vibration when using two identically running fans.
Motor and fan control
It is powered by an etaPERF motor with an NE-FD6 control circuit, which manages speed with high precision and low energy consumption. This precise control is key to maintaining a slight speed offset between the fans. Additionally, SupraTorque technology uses the motor's torque reserves to maintain stable speeds even with increased airflow resistance, such as on dense radiators.
SSO2 bearings and material composition
The fans use SSO2 bearings. This system uses an additional magnet to stabilise the rotor axis, which reduces friction, wear and acoustic noise. The Sterrox LCP material contributes to overall strength and stability, and its low thermal expansion allows for a small gap between the blade tips and the frame for higher efficiency.
