nJoy Cadu 2000

You've probably already experienced a power supply interruption just before you saved that important document. The unsaved work is irretrievably lost, and you have to start again from nothing. Such uncomfortable (to put it mildly) situations can be prevented by the nJoy Cadu 2000 backup source, or UPS. This is a large battery that provides power for all types of electronics. The nJoy Cadu 2000 UPS uses the Line interactive design approach. Off-line is the most basic form in case of a black-out, since it switches power to the UPS unit itself. The line interactive UPS also adds power protection to prevent damage from electrical surges from the grid.

nJoy Cadu 2000 Backup Power Supply Key Features

• Type of backup power supply: Line interactive
• Actual performance: 1200 W
• 4 classic Schuko plugs

A key parameter is the UPS run time. This is governed by the power consumption of the connected devices – for example, at half-load (50%), the UPS power time will be three times longer. It is therefore essential to estimate the energy consumption of the connected computers, monitors and other electronics and it is best to add some spare power left. The nJoy Cadu 2000 measures the apparent power as 2000, but in reality, the actual usage matches the value of 1200 W.
