The revolutionary Nikon SnapBridge function utilises Bluetooth technology for a permanent low-energy connection of the D3400 camera and your smartphone or tablet. The D3400 is lightweight and compact enough for easy portability, and on top of that it's a brilliant camera for creating unforgettable, high definition photographs and films. The device has a long service life and, thanks to its low-energy design and high-capacity battery, it allows you to take up to 1200 photographs per charge. The large 7.5cm (3") high-resolution LCD display allows you to create compositions, check your resulting photographs and apply special effects, which you cansee on the screen in brilliant quality.
With the D3400, taking still pictures is just half the fun. When you have the opportunity to record videos, D-Movie lets you capture seamless Full HD movies with fine details with a shooting frequency of up to 50p/60p. Continuous focusing ensures a perfectly sharp footage even when filming dynamic scenes. In addition, the wide ISO sensitivity range allows the camera to easily record street scenes at night or record fun situations at social gatherings in dimly lit interiors.
The D3400 is well-equipped to bring out your creative side. Ten different built-in camera effects make it easy to enrich the captured images with a creative touch. Just select the desired effect and apply it before exposure. The camera's touch-up menu will then give you the freedom to add effects to your already captured images. You can crop the captured images directly on the spot by simply pressing the "i" button while using the zoom enlargement function.
