Optical detection and alarm
The device uses an optical photoelectric sensor to identify danger, which reacts to the presence of smoke in the room. When smoke is detected, it activates the integrated 85dB acoustic alarm and sends push notifications to the user's mobile phone. This dual warning method ensures you are alerted to the danger even if you are not in the immediate vicinity of the device.
Wireless connection and integration
The detector connects to the smart system via the Z-Wave protocol and a 2.4GHz WiFi wireless network. For correct operation, the detector requires a connection through a central unit or bridge, which enables its integration into a closed security system. The signal transmission operates on radio frequencies of 868–868.6MHz and 869.7–870MHz with a transmission power of -5dBm.
Ambient temperature measurement
In addition to smoke detection, the device also monitors the ambient temperature in the room, ranging from -20°C to 100°C. The built-in sensor measures temperature with an accuracy of 0.5°C, which contributes to better climate control in the building. The device operates reliably at operating temperatures from 0°C to 55°C and at an operating humidity from 0% to 93%.
Battery life and app management
A single CR123A battery with a voltage of 3V ensures a stable power supply. The power-saving technology keeps the device operational for up to 20000 hours, and the current charge status is clearly displayed in the app. The battery is included in the package, so the device is ready for immediate use. Management and settings are handled by the manufacturer's mobile app, which supports Android and iOS operating systems. The app's user interface is available in Czech and English for easy setup of all parameters. This gives you an instant overview of the sensor's status, alarm history, and the current temperature in the monitored area directly on your phone.
Indoor installation
The IP20-rated plastic cover is intended for installation on a wall or ceiling indoors. It can be installed using adhesive or screws, depending on the specific space. The compact dimensions of 2.8×6.5×6.5cm and the white colour contribute to the device's discreet appearance in the room. Its low weight of 65g makes it easy to handle during installation and ensures a firm attachment to the chosen surface.
