Magnetic car phone holder with MagSafe support

The Mobile Origin CA31 Magnetic Car Holder offers a practical solution for holding your smartphone while you drive. A total of 17 N52 neodymium magnets hold your phone securely, even when driving on uneven terrain. The holder rotates 360°, so you can easily adjust the display to either portrait or landscape orientation. The accessory is compatible with phones with a screen size of 4 to 7 inches, and for phones without MagSafe support, you can use the included metal ring. It is designed to be mounted to a slatted air vent using a hook.

Mobile Origin CA31 with a secure hold

Inside the magnetic ring are a total of 17 N52-grade neodymium magnets that ensure your phone is held securely. The ring follows the magnet layout of the MagSafe system, and iPhone 12 and newer models can be attached directly to the holder. You'll appreciate the strong magnetic hold when driving on uneven roads or through corners.

Magnetic holder for phones from 4 to 7 inches

The magnetic attachment is designed for phones with a screen size of 4 to 7 inches, making it compatible with a wide range of models. Unlike with mechanical clamps, what matters here is the position of the magnetic ring or metal plate on the back of the phone or case. This range can therefore accommodate even a larger phone in a case with a magnetic or metal ring placed in the centre of the back.

Attachment to a slatted air vent

The holder clips onto the slats of the air vent with a hook, and a locking nut is used to adjust the clip's opening according to the thickness of the slats. The hook is suitable for a slat spacing of 12.5 to 26mm and can be used with various slatted vents. It is not intended for round, slatless vents. We therefore recommend checking the type of air vent in your car before installation.

Use with phones without MagSafe

Phones without MagSafe or phones in a standard case can be used by sticking the included metal ring to the centre of the back. After applying the ring, press it down for about 8–10 seconds and then allow the adhesive to cure for 24 hours before you start using the holder. Do not stick the metal ring directly onto an iPhone 12 or newer without a case, as these models can attach directly to the holder using MagSafe.
