Energy class A
Honeycomb drum
Thanks to the honeycomb drum structure, your laundry receives the gentlest possible care. A fine film of water forms between the drum wall and the textiles, allowing the laundry to glide smoothly over it. The perforations in the Miele washing machine drum are smaller and have polished edges, protecting your clothes from pilling and pulled threads. The suds container is made of high-quality stainless steel.
Economical, powerful and almost maintenance-free DuraLife motor
Miele's DuraLife inverter motor combines high performance with economical and quiet operation. Thanks to its electronic control and brushless design, it operates with virtually no wear and tear, which contributes to its long service life. The innovative design also supports efficient, reliable and convenient laundry care for many years. Patent EP 2 840 679.
Keep your consumption under control
Miele washing machines are designed to minimise energy consumption and achieve top energy efficiency. You will be surprised by the great washing results with short programmes. Some models exceed the highest energy efficiency class A by more than 10%, including the MIELE WWA 120 WCS Active.
Perfectly tailored to your laundry
The Miele WWA 120 WCS Active washing machine is equipped with a function that cleverly optimises water and electricity consumption, as well as the length of the wash cycle. With its advanced load recognition, it can accurately assess the amount of laundry and automatically adjust all parameters.
MIELE WWA 120 WCS Active washing machine with a flow meter
Some Miele washing machine models are equipped not only with automatic load recognition, but also with a flow meter. This precision system with an impeller can measure and control the water intake very accurately. This allows the appliance to save water efficiently and contributes to an economical and environmentally friendly operation.
The right detergent for every use
Choose from a diverse range of special Miele detergents and fabric softeners, such as ImpraProtect, Cotton Repair or a booster for stubborn stains. The CapDosing capsules are made from 100% recycled plastic and contain a precisely balanced ratio of detergent that is released upon contact with water. This prevents under- or overdosing. If needed, the capsules can be easily opened using the handy pull-tab.
AddLoad
Thanks to the AddLoad function, you can add any forgotten item of clothing even after the programme has started, almost until the very end. Accidentally put your black shirt in with the whites? You can easily remove it at any time during the washing process. To use this function, simply press the Start/Add laundry button.
Excellent quality and long life of the MIELE WWA 120 WCS Active
While some car engines are tested for 3000 hours, Miele tests the performance of its washing machines for up to 10000 hours. The testing is carried out day and night with a comprehensive and precise approach so that you can enjoy perfect results year after year.
Watercontrol System (WCS)
The Watercontrol System (WCS) ensures the washing machine's safety with an additional sensor that monitors the water level. If the water level does not reach the normal level, the system immediately stops the water inlet. In the event of a water leak inside the MIELE WWA 120 WCS Active washing machine, the inlet valve closes automatically and the water is pumped out. In addition, a float located in the suds container can detect any water leakage, providing an additional level of protection.
Gentle care for every fabric
The MIELE WWA 120 WCS Active washing machine offers special programmes for different types of fabrics to ensure optimal care. The delicates programme gently cares for synthetic materials, keeping them looking beautiful and in their original shape. For woollen textiles, there is a programme that prevents shrinking and felting, so your favourite pieces will stay soft and in perfect condition. The proofing programme provides thermal fixing that optimises the water-repellent function, which is ideal for performance textiles. The outdoor programme maintains the functionality and protective properties of outdoor clothing in any weather.
