MIELE WTW 870 WPM 2-in-1
Combining washing and drying in a single appliance provides maximum space and time savings, especially in homes with limited space. It lets you conveniently wash and dry a smaller load of laundry in a single cycle without having to move it between appliances. The result is efficient and seamless laundry care that combines innovative technology with the high-quality workmanship and reliable performance of the Miele brand.
Washing and drying programmes
The MIELE WTW 870 WPM washer-dryer offers a wide range of programmes for everyday laundry care. The Automatic programme lets you wash mixed textiles in a single load without the need for sorting, while the special Silk programme ensures exceptionally gentle washing and pre-drying of delicate materials. There is also a Sport Shoes programme, which effectively and gently cares for trainers and other leisure footwear.
An ecological helper
Using thermo-spin technology, the MIELE WTW 870 WPM washer-dryer can partially remove moisture from laundry before the drying cycle itself by using warm air and gradually increasing the spin speed. This significantly shortens the drying programme time, reduces energy consumption and also cares for textiles more gently.
Flow meter
The MIELE WTW 870 WPM washer-dryer is equipped with a flow meter which precisely measures and controls the water intake using an impeller. This helps to save water in an economical way.
Economical, powerful and almost maintenance-free DuraLife motor
Miele's DuraLife inverter motor combines high performance with economical and quiet operation. Thanks to its electronic control and carbon brush-free design, it operates with almost no wear and tear, which contributes to its long service life. The innovative design also supports efficient, reliable and convenient laundry care for many years. Patent EP 2 840 679.
Energy efficiency and effective operation of the MIELE WTW 870 WPM
The MIELE WTW 870 WPM is a highly efficient washer-dryer that achieves the highest energy class, A, for washing. By combining modern technologies and optimised programmes, it offers efficient operation with an emphasis on lower energy and water consumption. Condenser drying ensures a fast and reliable drying process while maintaining gentle care for your laundry.
MIELE WTW 870 WPM with an anti-lint build-up programme
Maintenance couldn't be simpler. The MIELE WTW 870 WPM washer-dryer is equipped with a special fluff filter rinse programme that effectively removes residual fibres and dirt from the internal parts of the appliance after drying. The condenser channel, wash tub and drum are perfectly clean in just a few minutes, which helps prevent dirt build-up and subsequent discolouration of laundry in future cycles.
Up to 50% less time spent ironing
The MIELE WTW 870 WPM washer dryer boasts a SteamFinish programme that smooths your laundry following the wash cycle. It effectively removes unpleasant odours, such as cigarette smoke, and significantly reduces creasing.
Special surface structure for the gentlest care
The honeycomb drum guarantees gentle, delicate, and high-quality washing and drying for even the most demanding textiles. Thanks to its unique surface structure, a thin film of water forms between the textile and the drum wall during the programme, allowing the laundry to glide effortlessly. Your clothes will receive the perfect care.
SteamCare and PerfectCare
Most fabrics won't need ironing after coming out of the Miele WTW 870 WPM washer dryer, thanks to the SteamCare function, which provides gentle and effective smoothing of laundry using steam. At the same time, PerfectCare technology ensures gentle textile care by combining a honeycomb drum for delicate handling, PerfectDry for precise drying, and a warm spin to optimise moisture levels. Furthermore, automatic fluff removal eliminates the need for manual cleaning and contributes to long-term perfect washing and drying results.
Gentle care for every fabric – washing programmes
Thanks to its special wash programmes, the Miele WTW 870 WPM offers optimal care for various types of fabrics. Delicate synthetic materials retain their shape and appearance with the Delicates programme, while Dark/Jeans protects colours from fading and streaking. The Woollens programme cares for delicate woollen textiles without shrinking or matting, and Silks ensures exceptionally gentle washing for fine natural fibres. For household and specific needs, programmes like Curtains, Shirts for reducing creasing, Sportswear for a quick refresh, and Outdoor for preserving the functionality of technical materials are available. There are also special modes like Proofing to restore water repellency, Pillows for bulky textiles, Down for down-filled items, and Express 20 for quickly washing lightly soiled laundry.
The fight against stains
The MIELE WTW 870 WPM washer dryer can remove up to 23 types of stains – 3 types simultaneously. Simply select the relevant programme option, and the wash programme will be adjusted for that specific stain. The integrated stain guide on the display offers instructions on how to remove them.
Fast and economical
Discover a new standard of washing with the MIELE WTW 870 WPM and its PowerWash technology! Thanks to the innovative Spin&Spray technology, water and detergent are evenly distributed throughout the drum, ensuring faster and more efficient washing. It minimises water, energy, and detergent consumption while delivering excellent washing results. Additionally, the washing machine has a special QuickPowerWash programme that achieves optimal washing results in just 49 minutes.
The right detergent for every use
Choose from a diverse range of special Miele detergents and fabric conditioners, such as ImpraProtect, Cotton Repair, or Booster for stubborn stains. CapDosing capsules are made from plastic and contain a precisely balanced amount of detergent that is released upon contact with water. This prevents under- or overdosing. If needed, the capsules can be easily opened using the practical pull-tab.
Automatic detergent dispensing
The Miele WTW 870 WPM washer dryer uses the TwinDos® system, which ensures automatic and precise dispensing of liquid detergent according to the selected programme and laundry load. The combination of UltraPhase 1 and UltraPhase 2 detergents is optimised to provide maximum washing efficiency, save detergent, and achieve perfect results. For those who prefer traditional dosing, a standard detergent drawer is also available.
Economical washing for single items
The SingleWash function allows for the efficient washing of even one or two items of laundry without wasting water, energy, or detergent. The programme is optimised to shorten the wash time while maintaining high cleaning efficiency, making it ideal for a quick refresh of your clothes. In combination with the TwinDos® system and PowerWash technology, the MIELE WTW 870 WPM washer dryer offers maximum operational economy.
Hygienically clean laundry thanks to the MIELE WTW 870 WPM
The MIELE WTW 870 WPM offers a high level of hygiene, removing over 99.99% of bacteria, such as E. coli and S. aureus, when using appropriate programmes with the Hygiene plus Extra function. The special combination of TwinDos® automatic dispensing and PowerWash technology also helps to reduce over 99.9% of viruses, so laundry is not only clean but also hygienically treated.
LED drum lighting
The MIELE WTW 870 WPM washer dryer also features LED drum lighting, which uses powerful Power-LEDs to perfectly illuminate the honeycomb drum. This gives you a perfect overview when loading and unloading laundry, ensuring no item is left behind. The lighting also contributes to the overall user comfort and elegant design of the appliance.
Smart integration with Miele@Home
Enjoy modern convenience by connecting the MIELE WTW 870 WPM washer dryer to the Miele app, which lets you control the appliance from anywhere. Receive notifications when your laundry is washed or dried, monitor energy consumption, create your own programmes, and much more.
*Miele@home is a separate digital service offering from Miele & Cie. KG. The Miele@home system enables the use of all smart applications. The range of functions may vary depending on the model and country.
Load indicator and dosage recommendation
Thanks to the intelligent load indicator, optimal capacity utilisation is always ensured, and overloading is prevented. The system evaluates the amount of laundry loaded and can show how much more can be safely added. At the same time, it offers recommendations for the correct detergent dosage, leading to more economical washing and consistently perfect results.
AddLoad
Thanks to the AddLoad function, you can add any forgotten item of laundry even after the programme has started, almost right up until the end. Accidentally put your black shirt in with the whites? You can conveniently remove it at any time during the washing process. To use this function, simply press the Start/Add laundry button.
Advanced drying programmes for everyday comfort
The MIELE WTW 870 WPM offers a wide range of drying programmes tailored to different types of textiles. The Automatic Plus programme allows for convenient drying of mixed laundry in a single load, while Sportswear and Outdoor ensure gentle care for functional materials without losing their properties. For everyday and specific needs, there are programmes like Shirts to reduce creasing, Jeans to protect colours, and Delicates for gentle drying of synthetics. It also includes Express for quickly drying smaller loads, Proofing to restore water repellency, and Pillows to maintain the volume of fillings. The special Hygiene programme helps eliminate bacteria and mites, while Freshen Up adds a touch of freshness to dry laundry and makes ironing easier.
Outstanding quality and long life of the MIELE WTW 870 WPM
Some car engines are tested for 3000 hours, but Miele tests the performance of its washing machines for up to 10000 hours. Testing is carried out day and night with a comprehensive and precise approach so you can enjoy perfect results year after year.
Robust construction and stable operation
The exceptionally strong wash tub, complemented by an effective damping system with springs and cast iron weights, ensures high stability and a long service life. This design minimises vibrations and wear, ensuring quiet and safe operation even at high spin speeds.
Watercontrol System (WCS)
The Watercontrol System (WCS) keeps the appliance safe with an additional sensor that monitors the water level. If the water level does not reach its normal height, the system immediately stops the water inlet. In the event of a water leak inside the MIELE WTW 870 WPM, the inlet valve closes automatically and the water is pumped out. In addition, a float in the wash tub detects any water leaks, providing another level of protection.
