Life of Faith 2021/12

The Life of Faith - The Many Facets of the Church
an interdenominational monthly magazine published by the Christian Missionary Society

In the December issue you will find:

Generous (not just one day); Interview: M. and J. Vejmělko about relationships and prayer; a secret awakening in Iran; Advent adventure ride

* topic: Generous (not just one day)
Generosity and finances are often mentioned in the Bible, but it is not a popular topic among Christians. How to give with joy? Why are we sometimes afraid to give? Is it necessary to tithe? And don't we actually celebrate God's generosity at Christmas? David Novák, Lubomír Ondráček and Pavel Hošek reflect on the topic. It is supplemented by a survey on tithing, stories from readers and a traditional cartoon joke by Pavel Bosman.

* Interview - Monika and Jakub Vejmělek: Prayer is the spiritual glue
They lead youth, record podcasts on relationships, dating and marriage, have written prayer books and are active on Instagram. And they consider this social network as their mission field. Monika and Jakub Vejmělko talk not only about their ministry, but also about their relationship, the power of prayer and their difficult pregnancy.

+ The invisible wave is growing stronger - more and more Iranians are coming to know Christ
