Zimoday

Winter for Tonicka Bolava

At nine, Tonica Bolavá defeated the cruel Queen of the Fairies. At eleven, she fought an ancient body-stealing evil. At thirteen, Tonica must face a new challenge: Boys. And boys can be a bit of a problem when you're thirteen. But Zimodie is not really a boy. It's winter itself - snow, blizzards, icicles - all of it together. When he falls in love with Tony, he can make her roses out of ice, but his nature is blizzards and avalanches. And he wants Tony to stay in his glittering, frozen world. Forever. Tony will need all her cunning to survive until spring. He will also need the help of all his friends, from the young witches to the legendary Baba Zlopočasná. And yet - A free nation! The bravest, most tenacious and stinking pictographs ever banished from Fairyland - whether she likes it or not. It looks like a very cold season, because if Tonica doesn't survive until spring - spring will not come.
