Zdeněk Mahler: Coat of Arms

The popular writer and popularizer Zdeněk Mahler often draws inspiration for his works in history. This was also the case with his radio play Coat of Arms. In a story from the time of the Nazi occupation, Mahler paraphrased some motifs from the life of the writer Vladislav Vanchura, to whom he attributed this play. In the lead role, inspired by Vančur's life and thought, you will hear Eduard Cupák. The 1981 production was directed by Jiří Horčička.
