Marie returns to Prague for serious family reasons, bringing an unplanned surprise with her. In addition to her sick father and worried mother, she now faces the burden of a bleak future as a single mother.
Katka, on the other hand, is worried about her newly adult children, especially her unemployed son Matěj, who is far too comfortable with the perks of living at home. To complicate matters further, her ex-husband Karel starts interfering, and a new man appears on the scene who seems to be his complete opposite.
Can Marie handle her unenviable position without help from her ex-boyfriend? And will Katka defend her hard-won freedom?
