You can't explain

The most humiliating moment of my life began with a morning message from my ex-boyfriend’s notoriously heartless best friend. Jovie – this definitely doesn’t mean I’ve changed my mind about you. I’m messaging you because you tagged yourself in Jude and Stassi’s engagement photo sometime during the night. I don’t care if you were drunk or if it was a mistake. I’d advise you to remove it immediately because the wedding is in two months (which I’m sure you know, as you clearly follow them on Facebook). The damage has already been done, but there’s no need to make it even more awkward. No need to thank me. Stone – I don’t hesitate for a second and immediately remove the accidentally added tag, but then the witty writer inside me awakens and I reply to the man who, for the entire three years I dated his best friend at university, harboured an extreme, incomprehensible hatred for me. I didn't expect him to write back, though. What’s more, nothing could have prepared me for what he would write… nor for the fact that this handsome villain with cruel, ice-cold eyes would cause the biggest twist in my life.
