Worm

Captain Marek Wolf returns, and this time, things are far from simple. In the forests on the outskirts of Bratislava, a case begins to unfold that baffles even seasoned detectives. All that remains of a discovered body are bones – yet the victim is wearing the latest model of trainers. Wolf is faced with an investigation with no leads, no witnesses, and no certainty that this is the only murder. With each new discovery, it becomes clear that someone has managed to hide their crimes for many years.   Meanwhile, Wolf's personal life is falling apart. He's trying to save his younger brother from their mother's manic lifestyle, but his efforts only seem to reopen old wounds rather than heal them. Just as he's barely coping with his own problems, another brutal case arises – a dead woman found in a flat, her condition suggesting a horrifying connection to the previous findings.   Adding to the complexity, his colleague Karol Lupták returns to the scene, forced to confront his own past just to be able to investigate again. The case is therefore not just a hunt for a killer, but also an exploration of the investigators' lives – their mistakes, weaknesses, and hopes for a second chance.   This dark detective story intertwines several plotlines, showing that the characters behind brutal crimes are often just as complicated as those who investigate them.   Recorded at Chevaliere studio, directed by Sabina Rytířová, sound by Zdeněk Rytíř.
