Wolf's Bond

Meryn never desired to become one of the Tethered, the elite royal warriors who ride giant direwolves. She despises their cold-blooded brutality and their life of luxury, which stands in stark contrast to the poverty of her people.
But when her younger sister is abducted by immortal monsters, Meryn has no choice. Joining the Tethered is the only way to save her beloved Saela. First, however, she must survive the deadly trials, where even the smallest mistake could cost her her life. To make matters worse, the other recruits would rather see her dead, her she-wolf refuses to communicate with her, and instructor Stark is crueller than the trials themselves.
It seems almost everyone is out to get her—everyone except for the infuriatingly handsome Prince Killian, whose attention makes her an easy target. And as Meryn soon discovers, the secrets hidden within the castle walls are no less dangerous than the monsters lurking beyond them…
