Without Return: book two

He flew through a black hole and discovered a new world. Now he has to survive on it.

Clone trooper Jan Jansen is not having his day. As if it weren't enough that the Emzac monsters were tearing up his brothers and sisters from the Colonial Infantry before his eyes, he had to lose contact with his headquarters and fall through a wormhole into another world with the wreck of the LSSF cruiser Deimos.
One in which the laws of physics are not relied upon and which, unfortunately for all intents and purposes, is located in the T'ssaran Empire. The Blues, the old enemies of humanity, would welcome Jansen only as an unwilling participant in one of their perverse rituals. The only one who isn't trying to kill him is the gorgeous alien Treia... only she's at the top of the galaxy's most wanted list.
It doesn't look like a return to the United Solar Federation, despite their best efforts, and what can two fugitives do against the Empire? Pretty much. If something bleeds, it can be killed, and Jansen and Treia are going to do whatever it takes to survive. Drown the entire planet in blood...

Brutal sci-fi No Return climaxes and the blood mage Hoza strikes again: gunshot wounds, dislocated intestines and countless broken bones.

Jakub Hoza

Born in 1978 in Benesov. Although he thought for a long time that a hat and a whip would suit him, he eventually graduated with a degree in "Electronic Computer Systems" and now works in the IT department of an unnamed health insurance company. He writes mostly "deviant" dark fantasy and "splatterpunk" action sci-fi. He has so far published eight books (Theatre Macabre, The Shackles of Fate, Go through the fire, To hell and back, Like death itself, Scorched earth, Sochaři masa and Bez vrratu) and occasionally contributes a short story to the magazine Pevnost. Hoza has been involved in the theoretical and practical study of close combat, especially with cold weapons, for more than thirty years. Some of the walls of his Prague apartment are lined with steel so that they look like a castle armoury. Apart from that, he is mainly devoted to his family and writing. Every now and again he reads with relish something by his favourite authors Sapkowski, Kulhanek and Pratchett.
