With a wolf's head in the coat of arms: The third part of the historical series Hynek Tas of Bor
It is a frosty night, January 1421, and a badly wounded horseman arrives at the gate of Drkolná, a small fortress in the foothills of the Bohemian Forest.
Thus begins a plot loosely connected to the previous novels The Fourth King's Dog and Time of the Wolves. Hynek Tas from Bor loses the love of his wife Markéta again. But that's not all. He also loses his castle Vlkov, the water fortress Blatec, his son and his she-wolf Grey disappears somewhere in the woods. Tas, however, is not one of those who would give up without a fight. Although he is often on his knees, his head is always upright. He is left with his horse Flavius, he gains a new friend, but also the secret love of the wife of one of the German refugees...
