Why does mom ALWAYS drink

Our heroine has been a wife and mother for so long that she doesn't know how to go on. Even though she tries really hard, her darling babies still have no idea what a laundry basket is and are unwilling to do it instead of screaming: "Mom, I can't find it!" get off their lazy asses and start looking themselves. Add to that the high school entrance exams and driving tests, and Mom has to bend over backwards to keep the family going. And himself, too - but that's what his trusty, ever-increasing glass of wine is for.
