When you say protectorate

Even 80 years after its demise, the Czech public's interest in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia remains strong. This is well known to Jan B. Uhlíř, a historian of the Protectorate and author of numerous acclaimed monographs. He has now compiled an unconventional handbook containing around 160 of the most significant terms that characterise this period. These terms present the Protectorate in its necessary context and place it in new contours within the overall framework of the Third Reich. This richly illustrated work is unprecedented in our country; no one has yet attempted a similar genre. It is therefore hoped that it will find a place in the library of every person interested in modern Czech history.
