When angels are missing wings

Despite the book's title, the main characters in all fifteen short stories are people of flesh and blood, the kind of people we meet on the street every day… Each of their stories, whether long or short, is marked by something – the era, the distorted effects of the past, the whims of fate, or personal life problems they failed to resolve in time. The narrative thread is full of suspense and unexpected, even surprising, climaxes, and for many readers, it will be a reminder of something intimately familiar.
