What didn't fit in my CV - 6 years around the world

Why do they ask where you see yourself in ten years? Why don't they ask where you are now? At the age of twenty-three, Nick trades a steady income and a company car for a one-way ticket to Mexico. Whether he's dancing shuhplattler in Las Vegas or lifeguarding on a catamaran, he's off on an adventure. One year becomes six years, and all the while he finds himself in extreme situations. But in between gruelling expeditions through the wilderness and social jobs with his counterparts, Nick also finds time for friendship, human closeness and the uplifting moments of travel. And each time, he demonstrates anew his humility and unshakable faith in his message: to finally do what we really love. The recording is based on Nick Martin's book What Didn't Fit in the Biography - 6 Years Around the World published by Marco Polo in 2020
