Vlastimil Venclík: Meeting in plaster

A comedy about the meeting of a guilty man and a victim of a car accident in a hospital room. In satirical hyperbole, the play juxtaposes modesty and responsibility with a predatory and immoral approach to life. Dramatist, screenwriter, director and actor Vlastimil Venclík (b. 1942) began his studies in film and television directing at FAMU in 1966, but due to the contradictions of the content of his film Uninvited Guest (starring Pavel Landovský) with the regime of the time, he had to leave the faculty and worked in the health sector for over twenty years. Only then did he begin to make a name for himself as a playwright, screenwriter and occasional actor. Persons and cast: Arnost (Josef Bek), Evžen (Zdeněk Řehoř), Sister (Marie Marešová), Eliška (Jiřina Jirásková), Doctor (Jiri Adamira), ambulance driver (Karel Augusta) and driver (Boris Rösner)
