An Anthology of the Best Czech Fantasy
Magic is a wonderful thing. You can conjure up luck, health, or a succubus to do your bidding. But everything can also go wrong in an instant, and you might find yourself up against forces so ancient and dark they could drive you to madness. Magic forms the basis of the fantasy canon, but this collection will show you that even such a traditional theme can still surprise you in many damn ways.
Previous anthologies from the editorial duo Hokr–Kyša have found their way to thousands of readers, revealing the magic of Czech fantasy. In the Shadow of Magic completes their introduction to the new generation of Czech authors, and you simply want to be there for it.
