After the success of the books Stories from the Olive Island and Corfu without a Guide, Pavla Smetanová invites us to Corfu again in her unconventional way to introduce us to even more charms and surprises of this island, entertaining us with stories of its inhabitants, her family and experiences with tourists.

Their mood, despite the constantly recurring financial crisis, is still the same. My experiences haven' t changed much either, I' m just a few years older, my children have grown up, and Adonis has other hobbies. After fourteen years, I am still discovering this country, trying to understand it, sometimes hating it and sometimes loving it, and slowly but surely finding my home in it.

Writing about the Corfu rains and the blue sea, about offices, school, my husband and children, and the people around me has become an inseparable part of my life. I enjoy it and I sincerely hope you enjoy it too.
