Storage and fastening systems for mounting electrical equipment and installations

Storage and fastening systems for mounting electrical equipment and installations
The manual focuses on the basic requirements for the safe, reliable and clear routing of electrical wiring, and the installation of certain devices and light fittings.
The materials and methods used for routing electrical wiring, including devices, have evolved since electricity was first generated and distributed to the public and industry.
New construction technologies used for mass housing and civil engineering in Europe brought about fundamental changes in the possibilities for routing wiring. This is how electrical trunking systems were created and developed over time, becoming widespread in Central and Eastern European countries since the 1970s. The form in which these systems were used in residential construction led to a certain aversion among users, which the current types of electrical trunking designed for residential construction, which now fully comply both technically and aesthetically, must overcome.
In industry, the demands for electricity distribution in large open-plan workplaces and for the variability of electrical equipment placement within the internal space gradually increased. This led to the development of routing systems for surface-mounted cable bundles (for example, NIDAX trunking), and later cable trays, channels and ladders (suitable for the technical facilities of residential and civil engineering, industry, etc.). These routing systems now fully guarantee variability, clarity and accessibility of the wiring while applying aesthetic criteria for a 'technical look'.
A further direction in the development of electrical installation routing materials led to the development of electrical routing components intended for installation in floors with recessed boxes for fitting several sockets (so-called 'nests'). The system is used mainly in large open-plan office buildings and data centres.
The manual gives the reader a comprehensive overview of the current options for routing electrical wiring. It also indicates which aspects must be respected in accordance with the manufacturers' instructions, which, according to Act No. 22/1997 Coll., are the basic documents for the preparation and implementation of the construction.
The company IN-EL, spol. s r. o. has been publishing professional manuals for electrical engineers since 1992. Since September 2011, we have also been publishing professional manuals in electronic form and are gradually converting all current professional manuals into the classic PDF format.
We are the first in the Czech Republic not only to publish e-books in the electrical field, but now our e-books have a number of standard features as well as a completely new function.
Standard features in all e-books include:
- an interactive table of contents, both in the left-hand frame (full contents) and in the in-text contents (only first-order chapters and sub-chapters),
- direct links throughout the text to mentioned chapters, figures, tables, literature, etc.,
- direct links throughout the text to mentioned websites.
The completely new function includes links to the texts of the Czech Technical Standards (ČSN) mentioned in the manuals, via the 'iiSEL® – access to standards online' service on our website (www.in-el.cz). Access to the texts of the ČSN is provided by the Czech Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing (ÚNMZ) through its 'ČSN online' service on the website www.unmz.cz. Both websites are interconnected, so you can access the text of any ČSN directly from our website.
However, both services are paid.
Access to ČSN texts is currently not possible on tablets, e-readers and mobile phones. This is because the security element used by ÚNMZ for accessing ČSN texts, a plug-in from the company File Open, has not yet been developed for these devices. According to a communication from ÚNMZ, File Open is currently developing this plug-in and it will be available for iPads first.
However, I am convinced that even though this completely new service is currently only available on desktop computers and laptops, it significantly increases the value of our e-books. The reader can immediately
