Trouble behind the wheel

Their territory is the road.
Their pace is murderous.
Their opponents are traffic jams, speed cameras and the police.
The men of the courier companies work day and night.
Their mission is to protect humanity from starvation.

Imagine the road as a wild jungle where danger lurks around every corner. This book is your guide to this crazy world of food delivery, groceries, taxis and other transport adventures. You will learn what life is like for a courier who must deal with orders, heavy traffic, police officers, accidents, vehicle breakdowns and other pitfalls that may be encountered on the road – from faulty technology to impossible demands and the whims of the weather.

The author takes the reader on a journey full of extraordinary experiences, absurd situations and unexpected lessons – with perspective, humour and a good dose of self-deprecation. Because being a courier is not just a job. It's an adventure at full throttle.
