Return to colourado
The first time I met Weston Madigan, he saved me. I came to colourado for a new start, without a dollar to my name, with a broken heart, and pregnant. Weston gave me a job as a photographer at his family's ski resort and then left for good the very next day. When I see him for the second time eleven years later, he's standing in the kitchen of my staff cottage, charming and shirtless, cooking bacon for breakfast. Judging by the shock on both our faces, neither of us was expecting a housemate, and he certainly wasn't expecting two of them. Me and my eleven-year-old daughter.
The grumpy pilot is back to launch a new project at the family resort – heliskiing for clients. I can definitely handle being his temporary housemate, right? With a few simple rules, it shouldn't be hard to resist the incredible chemistry between us. Especially since he's basically a walking grump. Well, maybe a grump, but his eyes say something different. He devours me with his gaze, and I have an overwhelming urge to touch him. Damn, he's the most interesting man on the planet! Especially when he's talking to my eleven-year-old daughter, listening to her so intently and letting her make him laugh.
That's when I always end up laughing too, and my wall of self-control crumbles. Oh, what seriously bad timing and the wrong man to fall in love with. But this is just a temporary infatuation. Simple desire. I can't fall for Weston. I will-not-fall for Weston. But I might as well throw that rule out the window when we're this close to each other every single day…

Everything Rebecca Yarros writes is worth reading. I feel at home in the pages of her colourado adventures. They're like a soft blanket and a glass of red wine.
