Tokyo Story

Alice travels from Prague to Japan with a single goal—to find someone who was important in her life. The man she met in Prague and with whom, even after two years, she is still hopelessly in love. But finding one person in the metropolis of Tokyo seems practically impossible. Alice only knows his first name, she has an old photograph to hand, and her Japanese is far from perfect. Yet none of this can deter her.

Her frantic search takes on a completely new direction when an unexpected helper crosses her path. A young Japanese man who, after studying in America, is returning to his family in Hokkaidō to get married and take over his father's company. He calls Alice a daft foreigner. He thinks she's crazy and desperate. But he'll do anything to make her happy.

Will Alice find the love of her life? And can she be sure it's truly the right one?
