Threads of Fate

When Jarl Knut takes several captives in retaliation for an attack on his territory, he has no idea that he has just changed his destiny. Among them is Birte, a woman who refuses to submit, and her defiance will be both a thorn in his side and a spark that ignites the fire in his passionate blood. Desire and honour clash in the raw world of the Vikings, where strength, courage, and gods playing their own games with mortals reign. But destiny is held in the hands of the Norns—the fates Urd, Verdandi, and Skuld—and their threads can connect two lives in a way no one could have predicted. Enter a story of passion, determination, and the price we are willing to pay for love, even if it means burning in the flames of battle.
