Thin Ice

Although the Algorian imperial couple survived an assassination attempt, the perpetrator is still at large. Empress Victoria is trying to find peace again, but far away from her, another, much worse conspiracy is beginning to take shape, one which also slowly draws in the Viridian King Georg Talminis.

Meanwhile, on Menabaran, Avrian Dann is consolidating his power with generous support from forces he knows almost nothing about, while Nikola and Natalie Vanberg flee the planet on Darren Iverson's ship. However, they are not only being pursued by the police, and instead of a safe home, Newell could become a deadly trap for them.

In the opening book of the Algor cycle, many games were set in motion. Now we will find out just how thin the ice is that all the players are treading on, whether they want to or not – and for which of them it will eventually break.
