They really didn't expect love

After an unhappy first marriage, the young widow Susanna never wants to marry again. However, her family's financial situation and the debts of her late husband force her to accept a proposal from her childhood friend, the doctor Quinton, who has unexpectedly inherited a title and an estate and needs a wife to run his home and represent him in society. Their marriage comes with certain conditions, in which there is no place for feelings. Neither Susanna nor Quinton expect that their long-buried mutual affection could turn into love in their marital game and jeopardise their agreement.
