Elsie Hannaway lives in a multiverse: Outside of her (low-paying) job as a theoretical physicist, she makes money as a fake girlfriend. He is able to satisfy his clients to the utmost. But the carefully constructed worlds suddenly intersect and everything begins to collapse... It turns out, that Jack Smith, the annoyingly sexy, brooding older brother of her favorite client, is that cold-blooded experimental physicist, that not only ruined her supervisor's career, but it also undermined the reputation of theorists around the world. And it is he who sits on the MIT admissions committee and decides whether Elsie gets her dream job. Can Elsie resist Jack's gravitational field?
