The Witch's Daughter

In the spring of 1628, young Bess Hawksmith finds her mother's lifeless body hanging from a tree. She knows only one person can protect her from the same fate – Gideon Masters, a Warlock. She also knows his help will not come for free. In the present day, Elizabeth is living a relatively content life in England. She has spent centuries alone, travelled extensively, and survived epidemics, wars, and the sorrow of her immortality. Her loneliness suddenly ends when she befriends a teenage girl named Tegan. Although it goes against all her principles, Elizabeth opens her heart to Tegan and begins to train her as a witch. But Gideon is not idle and will stop at nothing. For his help, he claims Elizabeth's soul. And now Bess must fight to save herself – and what's more, she must protect the girl she has come to love like a daughter.
