PETRA KUBAŠKOVÁ Petra Kubašková was born eleven years before the Velvet Revolution under the sign of Sagittarius with Leo rising, so it's sometimes better to steer clear of her. She likes the paintings of Picasso, Monet, and Klimt, and in her spare time, she tries to imitate them with varying degrees of success. She has found a passion for writing books, where she cries, laughs, and fears alongside her characters. She gets her best ideas while walking in nature, washing dishes, and walking down stairs (mostly downwards, because when going up, she's mainly concerned with when she'll finally reach the top). She reads a lot, but not everything, and her genre choices fluctuate. She loves rhubarb crumble and also domesticated pet rodents (she doesn't eat the latter), hates arthropods, and listens to and reads her daughter's fantastic stories with fascination. She wanders through forgotten alleys with ancient houses and fantasises about all the things that might have happened there. She likes to make her dreams come true, but sometimes it takes her a while. ZUZANA KAJNAROVÁ While studying at the grammar school in Ostrava, she attended Milena Asmanová's acting studio and collaborated with the drama company of the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre. She graduated from DAMU – in her third year, she began guest-starring at the ABC Theatre and later joined the Prague City Theatres as a permanent member. She made a name for herself with film audiences in the role of the maid Dorotka in the fairy tale An Angel of the Lord (2005). She tried a tougher role in the crime series The Specialists as Commissioner Májová. She regularly appears in other television series, such as Redakce, Místo v životě, Comeback, Proč bychom se netopili, Přešlapy, Vyprávěj or Labyrint. She also works in dubbing and the world of audiobooks.
