The Water Sprite

The audiobook Vodník, by author Tereza Bartošová, read by Josef Pejchal. Příbram CID #2 Ema Štípalová is searching for her friend, who disappeared without a single word of explanation. Two days later, a dead body turns up in the village where her friend lived. Has something terrifying awoken in the valley interwoven with the Litavka river, its oxbow lakes, millraces and ancient mills? Something darker than the murky waters of the ponds and the legends that surround them? Or was it simply human malice at work? Tomáš Vyskočil and Honza Richter are assigned a case that stinks of mud and serious trouble, thanks to Ema, who stubbornly gets under their feet during the investigation. Will they manage to crack it before the water sprite slams the lid shut on a pot containing a new soul?
