The Twelfth Knight

Viola Reyes is pretty pissed. Her teammates refused to play the game, which she has carefully prepared, her best friend convinces her to try to be nicer, and her vice-president duties are being hampered by Jack Orsino, the best American football player on campus and the president of the student council. Vi prefers to escape the world in Twelfth Knight, but online spaces are not friendly to capable, confident girls. Vi therefore creates a male alter ego, a knight named Cesario. But when Jack gets hurt and also enters the world of the Twelfth Knight, Vi is disturbed to find that their characters are surprisingly well suited to each other.
