The scream of a dead woman

Pavel Wagner, kidnapped and drugged, becomes a witness to a sadistic murder.
When he is soon found, still under the influence of drugs, he and private investigator Anna Steinbach are faced with their most challenging case yet: This time they have neither the body nor the evidence. Was it all just Pavlov' s hallucinations? And who are his kidnappers anyway?
To make matters worse, Anna and Pavel are also facing an internal evaluation to assess how they are fulfilling their job responsibilities, which could significantly harm both of them.
Their professional and personal lives are falling apart, but they continue to try to uncover the truth at all costs. A deadly game of cat and mouse begins, which soon takes its toll. No one can be sure if he will eventually make it out alive.
The sixth case for Steinbach and Wagner.
