The Sakura Café
A place where tea smells of memories and brings peace to troubled souls
In the garden of Café Cherry Blossom stands a hundred-year-old mountain cherry tree. Year after year, it watches the seasons pass and the café thrive. Right now, it's observing young Hio, who is taking over after her mother's retirement. She wants to live up to the legacy of her grandmother, who founded the establishment as a picturesque guest house. Hio draws inspiration from nature, carefully selecting combinations of traditional Japanese tea and wagashi desserts. With her friend Miyako, she creates floral arrangements to provide customers with a pleasant space to relax. Yet, she often doubts her abilities. The mountain cherry tree, however, sees that Hio’s calm and welcoming presence helps guests through difficult times and at life's crossroads. The tree itself seems to hold a protective shield over the café. How will the café and the lives of the people connected to it change over the year? And will the ancient cherry tree withstand another winter?
